Teddy Ssezi Cheeye (right), the ISO director for Economic Monitoring is a man who likes his wine, but when he chances on champagne, don’t expect him to share. Friends, who sat with him in the Crane Bank hospitality tent at the Ascot Goat Race in Munyonyo last Saturday, learnt that the hard way. “I am not sharing a drop with anyone,” he loudly proclaimed, drawing attention from other tables. He assured them that the champagne was a reward for befriending the right people (read Sudhir Ruparelia). “Take your beers and leave me alone. You aren’t connected,” he scoffed. True to his word, he downed every drop.
