Joviah’s no nonsense musical stand

Joviah Saleh is very particular when it comes to musical tastes be it at home or in a public bar. She will not stand any deviation. Last weekend, the DJs at Alzawadi, a new joint Joviah owns at Kisementi next to Capital FM, found this out the hard way. Fed up of the booming dancehall sounds, she ordered the boys to stop playing their ‘madness’ and reminded them who is boss. “I bought these machines to play my taste of music but I never even get to hear it,” our snoops overheard Joviah saying. Since then, the new music policy at Alzawadi is mellow music (Joviah’s taste) and only from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Be afraid.
