CHESTERr Williams left for South Africa yesterday for a four-day break with his family, following the Rugby Cranes 5-3 defeat to Morocco on Saturday. The squad resumed drills yesterday at Kyadondo with a handful of players. “We have to plan for the Ivory Coast game,” coach Yayiro Kasasa said.

Cranes back
German Laszlo Csaba returns from a two-week holiday in Hungary today to prepare for Cranes’ next engagement against Niger. Csaba, who has been residing in Sheraton Hotel since arriving in Kampala in June, will forthwith shift house to an apartment in Bugolobi.
The foreign-based players return on October 1.

Lugogo grass
Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) has halted all activities at the Lugogo oval to allow the grass regain face ahead of the Kenya tour set for September 21.
UCA organising secretary Davis Arinaitwe revealed that the wicket was under constant maintenance and all activities had been stopped.
