KAMPALA-Spear Motors plans to install some 5,000 speed governors per month on all vehicles with over eight seats, Seith Magambo, the deputy managing director, said last week. Spear Motors is one of the firms appointed to install governors.

Mabira saga
MUKONO-Sezibwa Falls Micro Power Project will collapse once the plot to de-gazette part of Mabira Forest to SCOUL to grow sugarcane sails through, a top official warned this week. Harriet Nankabirwa, the Mukono finance and natural resources minister, said the forest was a catchment area to Lake Victoria and Ssezibwa Falls.

Dairy farmers
NTUNGAMO-The Ntungamo Dairy Farmers Cooperative Union (NDAFCU), currently under construction, will cost sh200m upon completion, Polly Matsiko, the NDAFCU chairman, said last week. NDAFCU has up to 15,000 members.
