Kenyan football chiefs are talking to former Nigerian international Stephen Keshi to replace former France goalkeeper Bernard Lama as the head coach of their national soccer team, officials said.

“We are in touch with Stephen Keshi and a Briton, Collin Stewart.

“But we are leaving our options open,” said KFF Secretary General, Dan Omino who confirmed that Lama had left the job after missing an ultimatum to return to camp by Monday.

Keshi led Togo to this year’s World Cup in Germany. “Keshi is especially more interested in the job and was making enquiries even last week about the possibility of stepping in,” said Omino
