NORMAN Blick hit a record eight 3-pointers as Nkumba-Marines demolished Kampala International University 101-55 on Wednesday.
Blick’s shooting accuracy at Lugogo equalled Isaac Afidra’s (KIU) 3-point shooting record set in the 2004 MTN basketball season.
Blick finished with a game-high 44 points and ten rebounds while Karol Bisereko added 17 points and Karl Mugalu 12.
KIU only managed to match Marines for the first ten minutes before any dreams of victory were blown away by Blick.
KIU were out of sorts and got a team-high 16 points from Makmot Orom as Emma Baguma and Farouk Omar added 12 and 8 points respectively.
