TEN MoneyGram customers have received prizes in the third draw of “From Uganda with Love†sh50m promotion.

TEN MoneyGram customers have received prizes in the third draw of “From Uganda with Love†sh50m promotion.
Rhona Musanase, the operations manager of Stanhope Finance Company, said in a statement, “The gifts consisted of music CDs of local artistes, kitengis and crafts.â€
Winners get a unique Ugandan gift to send to loved ones who had sent or received money through MoneyGram.
Florence Sambya got a microwave oven, while Dorothy Kakembo and Winnie Namugerwa won blenders. Berna Nakalema, Ruth Mbekeka and Sarah Machoki each won a DVD player. Four others received sh50,000 MTN airtime.
“I encourage customers to continue using MoneyGram because we have more prizes,†Musanase said.
Winners were chosen after their forms were picked in separate draws at every branch of MoneyGram’s local agents.
The agents are: Allied Bank, Metropolitan Forex Bureau, Prime Forex Bureau, Stanbic Bank, Stanhope Forex Bureau and Uganda Finance Trust.
