KIBULI Demonstration School overcame a tough challenge to win the Blue Band junior bikers race at Namboole on Saturday, reports <b>Samson Opus.</b>

KIBULI Demonstration School overcame a tough challenge to win the Blue Band junior bikers race at Namboole on Saturday, reports Samson Opus.
The Makindye school (below) broke the reign of White Angels primary school of Rubaga.
The feat earned Kibuli a top prize of two computers and a mini-library worth sh1m, while White Angels walked home with a computer and a mini-library.
Ntinda PS also got a mini-library after finishing third in the one-day grand final that involved 21 schools.
Kibuli’s best, Mariam Kasusa and White angel’s Ismail Ssali, received a bicycle each for anchoring their teams.
Sports minister Charles Bakkabulindi, who presided over the finals, urged other companies to emulate Blue Band in promoting sports.
