Care international has set up four water projects to rescue internally displaced people (IDPs) from a water crisis in the camps.
The sh604m scheme under its emergency water and sanitation programme constructed water projects in four camps in Gulu and Amuru districts.
Project manager Elisha Tusubira told journalists during the commissioning of Paicho motorised water scheme on Thursday that the project was funded by the US government through USAID.
care country director Kevin Fitscharles commissioned the scheme.
Tusubira said the other schemes were constructed in Alokulum, Anaka and Parabongo camps.
