Bugiri gets sh2b landing site

A CHINESE firm has constructed Wakawaka Landing Site worth $1,100,000 (sh2b) in Bugiri. China Jiangxi Corporation for International Economic & Technical Cooperation constructed the landing site.

A CHINESE firm has constructed Wakawaka Landing Site worth $1,100,000 (sh2b) in Bugiri. China Jiangxi Corporation for International Economic & Technical Cooperation constructed the landing site.

“The facilities will be used for fish collection, cleaning, freezing and selling,” Jinng Zhong, the project manager, said at the commissioning.

The landing site has a steel tressel, a fish off-loading shed, offices, a fish sales shed, water treatment workshop, ice-making shed, 240KW diesel generator, water purifying equipment, ice-making equipment with an ice storage house and a waste- treatment equipment.
