Five schools received 200 textbooks each last week. The schools were: Buikwe Self-Help Centre, Bwerenga Primary School in Wakiso, Ssaza Primary School in Mpigi, Wamala Primary School in Mityana and Kafundezi Primary School in Mubende.
Celtel’s managing director Yesse Oenga said, “We believe education is fundamental to empowering communities and helping secure the future. We hope that by supporting the regeneration of facilities in schools and educational projects, Celtel can make a difference and help make life better in Africa.â€
