Despite scooping the Artiste of The Year accolade at the 2006 Pearl of Africa (PAM) Awards gala, Bobi Wine (left) is not satisfied.

Reasons? The Bada singer was overheard grumbling that two awards out of seven nominations was not what he hoped for. He told peers on Sunday that he felt he deserved Male Artiste of The Year, Song of The Year and Ragga Artiste of The Year accolades.

“Omwana W’abandi was the song of 2006. From a mad man to a five-year-old kid, everyone was singing Bada!” he reasoned. “Besides, how could I have been the best artiste but not best male?” he further questioned. “These people (PAM Awards) didn’t consider hard work. They were after making everyone comfortable,” a furious Wine charged. He also argued that his songs Ghetto, Kabaseke and Adamu ne Kaawa merited PAM nods.
