CELTEL and MIDCOM have launched a sh100m promotion to reward their customers during this festive season.

CELTEL and MIDCOM have launched a sh100m promotion to reward their customers during this festive season.
The two-month campaign launched on Thursday in Kampala would run under the theme “Embrace. This season. Embrace. The spirit of East Africa.”
During the promotion Nokia 1110 would cost sh89,000, Nokia 2310 sh159,900 and Nokia 1600 sh127,000 with sh1,000 credit.
“The mechanics are buying Nokia phones, Celtel sim pack or top up for sh1,000,” said Cesear Mloka, the Celtel marketing director.

“This would make customers eligible entrants to the weekly draws, where customers would stand chances of winning weekly Prizes such as T-shirts, Airtime and Fully Connected Nokia Phones,” said Mloka.

He said Celtel and MIDCOM weekly draws would be held in selected locations countrywide for eight weeks starting Friday 10th November 2006 and the grand draw would be conducted on 5th January 2007.
