Abid Alam & Co hosted individuals who contributed to the success of the trade fair at a dinner party at the UMA hall on Friday. To celebrate the unassailable feat were security men, the press and a host of other individuals. That the 2006 trade fair recorded a 30% increase in revenue, 153,000 visitors and 790 exhibitors, up from 690; there was every reason to feast, and feast they did. From the heaped plates at the self-service table, it was easy to tell most of those in attendance were from security circles. You couldn’t blame them, it was their time to unwind.
