HE produced Mesach Semakula’s very popular 2005 album, Stecia Mayanja's Wabanswaliza as well as Da Twinz’ Fimbo and recently, he helped Obsessions with new songs.

Now, Travis Kazibwe (below) is out with his own debut seven-track CD, Kabogere. Produced in Dick Studios, the CD will be released on Monday December 4.

His music is pretty much urban Afropop in style, with a touch of reggae. All through the seven songs, there is no mistaking the deep native African soul in him. The album offers an insight into day-to-day challenges of living in Africa and also celebrates life, love and praises to the Creator.

Awava erinnyo, one of the highlight tracks on the CD is already a favourite at wedding parties as well as in Karaoke pubs all over town.

Gwe annyamba, on the other hand, has found its place on born again radio FM stations, recently hitting the number one spot on the Yello Top Ten on Power FM.
Other songs include Nkaaba Mpola, Sauti ya watoto and A cry for my people.

Kazibwe will be performing at Hotel Bativa next month.
