SOCCER - The Lira Kids League concluded on Saturday with USAID Green coming top in the senior category. USAID Blue won the junior category.
The popular kids soccer league for the under-15s is sponsored by United State Agency for International Development (USAID) and Western Union.

Omeda calls

GAMES - Soroti RDC max Omeda has called upon the district and the municipality authorities to decide on the modalities of the stadium to be constructed in Soroti. Omeda, who on Friday chaired a planning meeting for the construction of Soroti stadium at Lukiko Hall, called for cooperation among all authorities.

Lango Cup

SOCCER - Okarowok clan in Lango beat Atek 2-1 in the final of the Lango paramount chief (Won Nyaci) cup.
The competition at Akii Bua stadium was organised to celebrate one year since Won Nyaci Yosam Odur took office.

SOCCER - Koro- Kali FC on Monday beat Koro Abili FC 1-0 in the opening match of Koro sub-county football tournament organised by the sub county authorities to select players ahead of the Omoro county Christmas cup which is due to kick off this week.
