<b>SIMON Kaheru</b>, the corporate social responsibility manager of <b>British American Tobacco Uganda</b>, is now the acting <b>head of corporate and regulatory affairs</b>.

SIMON Kaheru, the corporate social responsibility manager of British American Tobacco Uganda, is now the acting head of corporate and regulatory affairs.

Kaheru, a former press secretary for the Vice-President (VP), Prof Gilbert Bukenya, took up the BATU position following the departure of Jimmy Kiberu. Kiberu was in charge of Uganda, Horn of Africa and Equatoria regions. Kaheru started as a freelance journalist at The New Vision.

He later became a staff investigative reporter before becoming deputy editor of Sunday Vision, from where he joined the VP’s office.
