COMMONWEALTH featherweight champion Jackson “Action” Asiku is bitter with his manager Danny Lutaaya. Asiku’s anger stems from Lutaaya’s failure to meet his obligation of securing him fights.

“He has failed to deliver on his part of the bargain,” said Asiku, explaining that Lutaaya has not got him the four fights he promised in the one-year contract period.

Asiku, 28, says he would probably be a world champion today if he had signed up with a serious manager.

“So, would it be wrong if I looked elsewhere for a manager?” questioned the Sydney 2000 Olympian.

The London-based fighter is in Kampala for a holiday, which he says should also help him plan his next move.

“Going by the look of things, it seems the Commonwealth champion has become too big for Lutaaya,” boasted Asiku.

Asiku has had only one fight since he beat Briton Marc Callaghan in November 2005 to win the Commonwealth title.

His last fight was a title defence in June where he knocked out another Briton, Jamie Mckeever, in the first round in Liverpool.

Some sources however say that British fighters are avoiding Asiku 20-3-0 (10 kos) because of his hard shots.
