Bosco Mukhwana boosted the Mutungo effort to victory with his added strike as the side downed White Doves 3-1 in the senior category. Hassan Kasozi struck for White Doves.
Though Mutungo were held in their next match by DFA at two-all, DFA’s falling to White Doves courtesy of Alex Mande’s strike ensured that Mutungo and White Doves qualify for the semifinal due Thursday at the same venue. They will take on the top two sides from Group B.
In the mid senior, Mutungo was on form again, registering a double brace from Rogers Lukwago and Fred Eddie as they downed White Doves 4-2 to qualify for the semifinals with DFA.
Lincoln and All Stars qualified from the junior category.
