It was drama last Friday in Development House when a teacher cried and held another person with whom we were in the lift, writes Moses Monday. He had reportedly come to register with the Ministry of Education when the security personel told him to use the lift and go to level four. As the lift went up, he felt like the whole house was moving up and becoming weightless. He grabbed another man in the lift.

Man collects feaces in hand
A fisherman was forced to collect his own feaces at the shores of Lake Victoria, Entebbe recently, writes Vision Reporter. The fisherman had eased himself few metres from the shore. Workers from a nearby water tank caught up with him and asked him to clear his mess. The workers forced him to collect the heap of feaces and take it to a latrine. Beggar fights drunk intruder
A beggar recently fought and beat up a drunkard man on Jinja Road for urinating and soiling her begging spot, writes Jonathan Osamuki. The unidentified woman found the man urinating on her cardboard paper. She immediately screamed and shouted obscenities before descending on him with kicks and slaps. The man tried to fight back, but was too drunk to fight. He kept falling. He staggered away to escape from the woman’s wrath.

Text message for party card
At a recent party in Ntinda, a man amused gate-keepers when he presented an SMS message received on his phone to prove he had been invited, writes Thomas Pere. Geoffrey was stopped at the gate and asked to show his invitation card before he could be allowed in. He said he did not receive a card, but the organiser had sent him a text message inviting him. He pulled his Nokia phone, retrieved the text message and showed to the gate-keepers. They reluctantly allowed him in.
