SIR— On Thursday, we celebrated Id Aduha in Uganda with the President of Iran at the headquarters of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council.

I noted that he stressed the need to be united in diversity and hailed the relationship between Muslims and Christians in Uganda and encouraged it to continue.
Himself a Sh’ite, accepting to honour Idd Adhuha in a Sunni mosque sent a message of unity among Muslims and stressed one of the tenets the hijja stands for.
