LUCKY Ugandan football fans will again win an assortment of prizes by predicting the MTN African footballer of the year 2004, reports Norman Katende.
Five nominees Jay-Jay Okocha (Nigeria), Samuel Eto’o (Cameroon), Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast), Benni McCarthy (South Africa) and Emmanuel Adebayor (Togo) are eyeing the African top prize.
The winner will be known at the annual MTN CAF Award 2005 dinner set for February 15 in Durban, South Africa.
MTN media relations official Tinah Byaruhanga yesterday said the package is attractive.
The top prize is a TV and Sony play station. The draw is open to MTN subscribers who will type “MTNCAF†and the name on the probable winner and send to 197 or 198.
