OVER 30 child mothers formerly abducted by the LRA rebels have received sh300,000 from the Gulu Support the Children Organisation (GUSCO).
GUSCO officer Richard Opige said the mothers also underwent psychosocial therapy at a rehabilitation centre.

Lira boosted
Lira district has received 25 classroom blocks, desks and toilet facilities worth over sh650m from Save the Children, Uganda.
The handover function at Agweng Primary School was presided over by the NGO programme director Letitia Besimera.

Centre opened
SH140m World Vision community resource centre has been commissioned in Gulu town.
Internal affairs minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda said the centre would help formerly abducted children in schools and other institutions of higher learning.
