THE Super Division Clubs Association (SDCA) is divided on the approach to take in order to have the league started.
While others are of the view that nothing stops them from playing, others argue that they cannot play when FUFA is not in place since the federation is the link to the international body FIFA.
“The ultimate aim when clubs compete locally is to play at international level,” SDCA secretary Kavuma Kabenge said.
“But there is a stalemate now when the FUFA executive is not constituted where are we going? NCS cannot take us anywhere.”
Jasper Aligaweesa, the NCS general secretary, said the league was not their priority.
“People want a new image of the game in the country and we cannot have it by just rushing to start the league,” Aligaweesa said adding that Government had a different programme altogether, which he did not disclose.
