VETERAN George Iga required only 45 minutes to win the Fotogenix Makerere table tennis open on Monday.

The former national champion made up for the defeat in last year’s final, beating Edward Kiwanuka at Makerere main hall.

“I’m glad I finally clinched this title that eluded me last year, It feels like I have regained lost glory,” an excited Iga said.

Mbale Tigers underlined their supremacy with a treble during the schools category in the tournament.
