A delegation from South Africa is here to make arrangements to fly back the body of Bavumile Vilakazi, the late South African high commissioner.
South Africa foreign minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma directed the country’s former envoy to Kenya, Kingsley makhubela, to lead the three-member family delegation.
Vilakazi, 50, got a heart attack and died on his way from Entebbe airport where he had received South African vice-president Jacob Zuma.
Zuma was here to attend a regional emergency summit for the Burundi peace initiative, to which he is facilitator.
According to SABC news, the team will tomorrow attend a memorial service for Vilakazi.
Memorial services will also be held in Pretoria and Ekurhuleni, East of Johannesburg.
