LIRA — Two Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) supporters have opened different party offices in the district. Nasuru Ogwang backed by councillors opened offices at To Pe Yero House, while the district party chairman, Yeko Bua, who is backed by MPs, opened another office on Oyite Ojok lane, causing confusion among supporters.

NUSAF signs
KITGUM — District HIV/Aids focal person Thomas Ojok recently said a protocol was signed by the Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF) and the Aids Control Programme to finance community-led HIV/Aids projects. He said the agreement was signed on March 21.

Fake money
ARUA — The Police on Thursday arrested three people over suspicion of printing fake money. Residents jubilated as the Police, led by deputy CID officer Samson Anguma, carried out the five-hour operation.
