MUK Sparks, Leopards face off today

LEAGUE leaders MUK-Sparks tackle KCC Leopards in a top-of-the table MTN women’s basketball clash at the YMCA today.

LEAGUE leaders MUK-Sparks tackle KCC Leopards in a top-of-the table MTN women’s basketball clash at the YMCA today.
Both teams will be back to full strength following the return of their players with Becky Akullo featuring for Leopards after a three-week injury. Florence Akello, who has been away on official duty, will also return to grace the Sparks attack.
A fierce battle between the forwards, where Leopards prevailed two weeks ago against KIU Rangers, is envisaged. Leopards will still have a slight edge in this department after recruiting post player Miriam Hamala and Akullo from Sparks.
Add Annet Nakiwu, Juliet Sabano, Dora Nakiryowa and Evelyn Adokorach and Sparks have a real battle on their hands.
On the opposite end, Sparks welcome back Akello and Agatha Baliddawa with skillful commanding from Olivia Mulwana.
Meanwhile, Miracle meets Earthquakes in the men’s Yello go conference.
