Ilonka’s slab

Florist, Ilonka van Veen, younger sister to Simba Telecom’s Erik van Veen has done something that would have the most conservative Ugandan aghast! For her upcoming wedding on June 25 to Gizmo, her invitation cards have been printed on a sizable slab of stone. That aside, the dress code is not the usual suit and tie for the men and a neat dress for the ladies. She has asked guests to dress outrageously. Turning up in shorts, a ripped T-shirt and sporting a tattered straw hat would go down very well!
