THREE cases of cholera have been reported in Gulu municipality.
The district director of health services, Dr. Paul Onek, has said the three were last Sunday admitted to Lacor Hospital with severe watery diarrhoea and vomiting.
Onek said the three, from one family, were tested and found to be suffering from cholera.

Deaf left out

Failure to get information about government programmes has made hundreds of Ugandan deaf to remain poor, an official has said.
Joseph Mbulamwana, the information officer at the Uganda National Association of the Deaf, recently said in Busia that the deaf had not contributed to development because they lacked information.

Dogs treated

Kapchorwa district is vaccinating about 10,000 dogs to curb the spread of rabies, the district veterinary officer, Dr. Stephen Okullo, has said.
He said the district was also registering dogs.
