CITY TYRES’ pre-season launch that transpires today will have each of the 15 participating clubs, fans and league administrators strongly reminded of the astonishing ‘code of conduct’ in place, aimed at bringing sanity in the league.

According to Kavuma Kabenge, FUFA’s normalisation committee chairperson in charge of competitions, details of the clubs’ fine systems will also be explained as the new regime goes about organising right down to the smallest detail.

“We want to make this a very special tournament. All clubs were presented with copies of the rules but will be reminded today. We will not expect excuses,” said Kabenge.

City Tyres, whose alliance in football builds over a couple of years, injected over sh60m to become the first official sponsors of the league in the post Denis Obua-led regime.

KCC FC play Mityana Utoda while Police hosts Victor at Namboole in two of the league’s opening fixtures.
