FLORIDA based Ugandan boxer James Lubwama will tonight have a chance to redeem himself when he takes on seasoned fighter Kenny Ellis in Washington, USA, reports James Bakama.

The light heavyweight contest will have Lubwama battling to recover from an unimpressive recent record of two losses and a draw.

Lubwama (16-2,9kos) lost his last fight to Fred Moore last year in Florida. This was five months after a draw with Darnell Wilson.

Veteran Ellis (34-6-2, 22 kos) is venturing back into the ring after his recent sixth-round TKO of Aaron Norwood.

Lubwama, an African champion at amateur level, has fellow Ugandans IBF champion Kassim Ouma, Fred Muteweta and Robert Kamya at his corner.
