SIMBA coach Moses Basena was an unhappy man last Wednesday after his side was edged 2-1 by group rivals Express FC in the City Tyres Super League at Nakivubo.

Basena protested the decision when referee Muzaffar Ziraba ignored an incident where veteran Mathias Kaweesa appeared to have been fouled in the box and no penalty was awarded. Maybe the match could have been tied.

Today, both sides meet in the return leg at Wankulukuku with something to prove.

While Simba still nurture the grudge from the last encounter and would like to avenge the result, Express would be looking to show that they are the rightful leaders of Group C, more so infront of their own at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

Both sides have the most lethal strikers so far in the league. Bruno Olobo of Simba and Red Eagles’ Tony Odur have both been on the mark five times in five matches.

The two will today be trying to outdo each other as they seek to take the ‘golden boot’.

At Nakivubo, Kampala United host sugar manufactures Kinyara in a game regarded as a survival duel as the two fight to avoid the drop to the lower division. In the first round in Masindi, Kinyara came out on top 1-0.
