The Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF) has distributed 190 cartoons of hoes worth sh19m to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Aromo sub-county.
NUSAF community development assistant Ocwer Elit on Monday said the hoes would benefit 3,200 IDPs.

WFP counts

THE UN food agency, WFP, has started the revalidation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Lira district to improve their data.
WFP monitoring officer Martin Ocan said on Wednesday the exercise would ensure accurate distribution of relief food to the IDPs.

Fresh cases

SEVENTEEN fresh cases of cholera have been reported at Olam-Nyungu internally displaced people’s camp in Kilak county, Gulu district.
The director of health services, Paul Onek, on Tuesday said three of the cases were UPDF soldiers.
