SECONDARY schools have been urged to promote science subjects to enable students compete favourably in today’s world of technological innovation.
The acting director at the Ministry of Education, Sam Onen, made the call while opening a sh150m information and communication technology centre at Kiira College Butiki, in Jinja on Friday.
The headmaster, Daudi Mulongo, thanked the education ministry for extending a sh20m grant to the centre but regretted that only sh10m had been received.
