FDC spreads
SOROTI — The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has registered 90,000 supporters in Teso, Elijah Okupa, the party’s deputy national mobiliser, has said. He was handing out 380 FDC registration booklets to the party’s district coordinators in Teso at their offices in Soroti on Sunday.

KAYUNGA — Civil servants in the district have been cautioned against engaging in partisan politics when the country returns to multiparty politics. “If civil servants engage in partisan politics, they risk losing their jobs if the party they support does not win the elections,” Kayunga district chairman Stephen Dagada said. Dagada was speaking to journalists on Saturday in Kangulumira trading centre.
