Many first efforts pass unnoticed, reports Gilbert Mwijuke. Didi’s first album with the Banyakitara –– Kampala did not do much to thrust him into the spotlight.

But after he became born-again recently, Didi, 24, decided to pursue a musical carrier that suits his faith. And he has now recorded an eight-track gospel album titled Never Change, which is to hit the airwaves soon.

A blend of R & B, hip-hop and Dancehall rhymes, the album is produced by Didi himself from True Vine records and the London-based Big Burn Studios, where Didi lived for a year.

On Never Change, Didi is sickened by the wavering faith of many Christians. He calls for firmness among Christians despite the many setbacks.
