UGANDA forms a strategic part of SN Brussels Airlines network. The carrier recorded good business, the visiting chief executive officer, Peter Davies, has said, reports Sylvia Juuko.
“Uganda is a strategic part of our network. We have operated here for many years and we have a very good clientele. We are trying to improve the leisure and the tourism sector,” Davies said after rewarding travel agents for good sales performance at Speke Resort Muyonyo, Kampala recently.
He said following good performance, their fleet would be beefed up with an additional aircraft flying to the continent.

“The year 2005 has been positive and we should make profit. We are economically and financially in a strong position. We have plans to make additional investments in new aircrafts and are looking to add another aircraft to our African operations,” he said.
SN Brussels awarded 10 tour and travel agents. Uniglobe Lets Go Travel emerged the best overall in 2004/2005 in sales performance.
