THREE changes have been made to the squad named to play Zimbabwe in a crucial rugby play-off game on Saturday in Harare,

THREE changes have been made to the squad named to play Zimbabwe in a crucial rugby play-off game on Saturday in Harare, reports Paul Mbuga.

Solomon Mawanda, Kenneth Mutabaruka and Lule Ssebina have been included in the squad, replacing Brian Makalama, Ronald Mwisaka and Mark Olweny respectively.

Uganda finished runners up in Pool A behind Kenya, and meet Zimbabwe, runners in Pool B, in the two play-off matches to determine which team qualifies for the second round of the African WC qualifiers. The return leg will be played in Kampala on August 20.

The second round consists of six teams, and with five already qualified, Uganda and Zimbabwe will tussle it out for the remaining spot.
