THE minister of tourism, trade and industry, Daudi Migereko, has assured people with disabilities (PWDs) of the government’s commitment to integrate them in poverty eradication campaigns.

THE minister of tourism, trade and industry, Daudi Migereko, has assured people with disabilities (PWDs) of the government’s commitment to integrate them in poverty eradication campaigns.
Migereko said despite being left out in the Poverty Eradication Action Programme (PEAP) in previous years, PWDs had been catered for in the present PEAP.
Migereko was officiating at the third general assembly for PWDs at Rubaga Students’ Centre in Jinja on Saturday. They elected new leaders at the assembly organised by Action on Disability Development.
