9 Police officers move to new stations

THE Inspector General of Police, Maj. Gen. Katumba Wamala, has transferred nine Police officers to new stations.

THE Inspector General of Police, Maj. Gen. Katumba Wamala, has transferred nine Police officers to new stations.

In the transfers that take immediate effect, Wilson Kwanya, the Jinja Road Police chief, now becomes deputy regional Police commander for Kampala Extra.

Samuel Ekelot has been shifted from Iganga to Masaka as deputy regional Police commander.

P. Waisswa, formerly at the Inspectorate of Vehicles in Naguru now moves to the Police headquarters in Kibuli, where he becomes the traffic liaison officer in the Police/traffic and road safety office.

Erebu Elodu who has been the DPC at Kawempe Police Station now goes to Iganga. F Sekiwere from Kamuli district replaces him.

G. Nshekanabo has been shifted from Katwe Police Station to Kabalagala as O/C station while B. Isabirye from Kisoro district becomes the Jinja Road DPC.

P. Mumbogwe of Kabalagala Police goes to Kisoro as DPC while Nasur Oringa from the Police/traffic and road safety office goes to Kisoro as DPC.
