UNILEVER donated an assortment of its products and foodstuffs to Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped in Mengo.
The school offers basic and vocational education to children who cannot join tertiary institutions after completing primary seven.
“Unilever believes that children whether fit or handicapped can equally exude stamina and enjoy life’s simple pleasures,” Unilever’s managing director, Navin Popat, said.
Popat said supporting the school and other charities was part of Unilever’s mission to add vitality to life.
“This is through meeting daily nutrition needs, hygiene and personal care with brands that help people feel good, look good and get more out of life,” he said.
