A golf tournament geared at raising money for expectant mothers in the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in northern Uganda will be held today.

The Barclays Bank Clinic, at the Kitante course, will boost the Uganda Red Cross Society Mama Bag campaign.

Money from the Mama Bag campaign which was launched last year, is used to secure various needs for expectant mothers in the IDP camps.

Uganda Golf Club (UGC) captain Daniel Kagwe will lead the way at the competition.

The players are drawn in various teams and will leave the tee at intervals of ten minutes.

Barclays Bank, spearheading the fundraising drive has entered two teams. MTN, Uganda Breweries, uganda telecom, Shoprite also have teams.
