Muhangi faces sh2b suit

Baganda Bus Park managers are facing a sh2b suit, after they failed to hand over part of the park that they reportedly sold to lubricant dealers, Kobil. Kobil is said to have bought the land from the Uganda Bus Operators Association Investments (UBOAIL)to put up a filling station. Largely owned by rally ace Charles Muhangi, UBOAIL won a tender to manage and put up a modern bus terminal at Nakivubo.

20 Moroto women killed

Suspected Pian Karimojong on Monday killed 20 Bokora women and children in an attack at Kodike village, Iriiri sub-county, Moroto district. The warriors also injured many people in a populated village south of Napac mountains. Bokora MP Patrick Apuun said he was yet to get the details of the attack.

IAA plane jolts Kinoni

There was panic among residents of Kinoni town in Masaka on Monday when an International Air Ambulance (IAA) helicopter made an emergency landing after running out of fuel on Monday.
The pilot said he was transporting patients, the Police said.
