OVER 700 local and international exhibitors are participating in the 13th Uganda International Trade Fair (UGITF), which opens today till October 10 at the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) grounds in Kampala.

Hillary Obonyo, UMA’s Executive Director, said 680 people had registered but they expected over 700 exhibitors.
“it is an opportunity for business people to come and showcase their products and interact, share ideas and strike deals with people from other countries,” Obonyo told the press yesterday.

Obonyo said the products and services to be showcased would include agricultural equipment, textiles, tourism, telecommunications and industrial technology.
