ENVIRONMENTAL officials who are not performing well should resign, the executive director of the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Dr. Aryamanya Mugisha, said over the weekend.
“If you are a forestry officer and trees are being consistently cut, just resign,” he said while closing a consultative workshop on access to genetic resources at Hotel Brovad in Masaka district.

Govt pledges

the government will support the national cultural centre to preserve, promote and develop a diverse cultural heritage, gender minister Zoe Bakoko Bakoru has said.
She was last week inaugurating a new board of trustees of the Uganda National Cultural Centre at the ministry boardroom in Kampala.
