MAKERERE University Business School (MUBS) has denied withholding the results of Bachelor of Commerce (External) students.

Addressing reporters at the campus on thursday, the principal, Wasswa Balunywa, said MUBS released results on time and expected students to graduate this month.

He said there could be a general problem, not affecting MUBS alone.
This follows reports that about 500 Makerere University B.Com external students would miss the 48th graduation ceremony due to the misunderstandings between Makerere University and the business school.

The report said although MUBS sent the results to Makerere last week, students said most of their results were still missing.

It said B.Com External was not on the graduation list released by the academic registrar’s office.

Preliminary compilations show that 6,000 students from other courses will graduate on October 27 and 28.
