The women clash will pit Kenya's Conjestina Achieng and Anzhelina Torska from Ukraine. S. African Len Hunt is referee of the fight where both fighters will carry home $5,000.

A rejuvenated Herbert Buyinza claimed the Lugogo “Masters Series†on Friday at the Jamal Ramji centre court, Lugogo, with straight sets win over Christopher Baagala 6-1, 6-3. It was Buyinza’s fourth trophy after Makerere Open, Makerere knock-out and MUK independence cup.

SEVEN countries including Uganda have been invited by Rwanda President Paul Kagame for the athletics championships December 10-11 involving secondary school students. Other countries include Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Burundi and hosts Rwanda. All these nations featured in the East and Central Africa Secondary Schools' games in Mbarara in August.
