THE Luweero district NRM elections on saturday were full of bribery and manipulations, katiakamu North MP Maj. James Kinobe has said.

He said in the elections, which were won by district chairman Hajj Abdul Nadduli, the ground was not level.

Kinobe supported Nadduli’s opponent, Samuel Kalyowa.

City engineer Abraham Byandaala, who is eyeing Kinobe’s parliamentary seat, became party treasurer.

Kinobe, who was elected on the veteran ticket, said he would address a rally and explain to the people what transpired.

“I will not dispute the results, but I feel our people should know,” he said, adding that the electoral officials were biased.

“The electoral officials were from the same camp. They were dancing while declaring results,” Kinobe said.
