Out of the hundreds of entries in the City Beat/Simba Telecom promotion ‘Win an original Nokia phone,’ the 15 winners all turned out to be men at the draw at the Simba Telecom offices yesterday.

“It was a fair draw and we have to go with the result,” Erik Van Veen, the Group Director, who picked the winning coupons, said.

This was the fourth promotion City Beat, the country’s leading entertainment magazine, has held.

The editor, Kalungi Kabuye, said the promotions are a reward to the readers for their support in the development of the magazine and to bring them closer to its partners in the industry like Simba Telecom.

Each of the winners will receive an original Nokia phone at a prize-giving ceremony at the Simba Telecom next Friday.

The winners were Henry Batty of Moroto, Inno Aliguma (Hoima), Samuel Ebong (Kam-dini), Godfrey Tezikya (Iganga), Samuel Mugawe (Soroti), Jean Moses Muwanguzi (Jinja), Yusufu Kazibwe (Nkokonjeru) Didas Mugisha (Kasubi), Yohaz Baluku (Kyambogo), Herbert Kiwalabye (Kasanje), Kevin Kigozi of Lweza.

Seleverio Kule, William Musoke, Mark Byensi and Marvin Katende of Kampala.
